Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

Okay. So. It's been almost 2 whole months since I last wrote a blog post. In all honesty it really doesn't seem that long ago, I really don't know where the time has gone! In truth there wasn't a reason why I stopped writing on my blog, I just lost my 'blogging mojo' and just generally had nothing I felt I wanted to write about. In any case, I finally feel ready to put some effort back into my little piece of the Internet, so here goes!

After getting back from my holiday, I needed a new foundation in a darker shade to match my new found tan, so I went to Boots and picked up the Bourjois Healthy Mix on a complete whim. I have used this foundation before, and really enjoyed using it so I decided to give it another whirl. Since the last time I used it, they have revamped the packaging to give it some lovely red accents, and I am actually a huge fan of the new packaging. It now comes in a glass bottle as opposed to the plastic bottle it used to come in, and I personally feel that the red accents make it look quite classy.

Bourjois claims that this foundation will make you look 'flawless' for up to 16 hours. I'm not too sure it lives up to this claim, as I do tend to find myself powdering my face after around 7/8 hours, although I do have quite oily skin so this may be down to that. I will agree with the claim that it makes you look flawless though, as it really does make your skin look smooth and evens out any imperfections you may have.

 

The formula of this foundation is quite strange - it's almost gel-like, but because of this it blends into the skin really easily. I tend to apply this with my Real Techniques expert face brush, but it also blends in really well with your fingers if that's how you roll!

 

I have the shade 52 'vanilla', which is slightly darker than I would usually go for due to just returning from holiday, but it is a really good match. I find a lot of Bourjois foundations have quite yellow-y undertone, which can be a pain but fortunately it works for me! There are 8 shades available to choose from, which isn't a great shade range but unfortunately this is quite typical of drugstore foundations!

 

I really like this foundation and would definitely recommend it if you can find a shade match! It's probably most suited to drier skins as it's quite hydrating, but that's not to say it doesn't work for oily skins too!

Max Factor Facefinity 3-in-1 Foundation

As much as I love Revlon's ColourStay foundation, I was on the lookout for something which was lighter, whilst still keeping my oily skin at bay throughout the day. I searched online and asked for people's opinions, and I found a lot of information about this offering from Max Factor:

 

 

 

 

 

"For women who want their foundation to easily deliver a long-lasting professional finish. The intelligent formula has three elements; Primer to hold, Concealer to correct, Foundation to finish."

 

This is marketed as a 3-in-1 foundation which essentially claims to be a primer, concealer and a foundation all in one. I have to say, I do tend to still use a primer and a concealer as well as this, although that is because my skin can get quite oily and blemish-prone, so if you have normal skin and a few small imperfections, you could easily get away with just wearing the foundation.

 

The consistency of this is quite runny, however this doesn't make it diffcult to work with. It is almost effortless to apply as it blends really easily into the skin. At first it gives quite a dewy finish, which I know some people like, however with my skin being quite oily I tend to favour a more matte finish, so I usually apply a setting powder over the top.

 

This lasts all day on my skin with no trouble. Granted, I use a primer and a powder with it, but I have been out just wearing the foundation, and it lasted me a good 7/8 hours on it's own, something which impressed me as not many foundations last that long on my skin.

 

The packaging of this is also lovely - it's a sturdy glass bottle with a pump (the only thing I disliked about the colourstay was that it didn't have a pump so this is an added bonus for me!). The pump feels well-made and dispenses just the right amount of product, resulting in minimal waste. I find it takes around 1 1/2 pumps for my whole face, so this bottle should last me quite a while!

 

The only slightly disappointing thing about this is the limited shade range. I have shade 40 Light Ivory, which I think is the lightest shade, and even this is not that light. There are only six shades in the range, and they don't run very dark at all, so if you're dark skinned you're really going to struggle with this one. Another thing is that everytime I go into Boots, there always seems to be only 3 shades in the stand, and there are usually only 1 or 2 bottles left on the shelf, so availability may be a slight issue.

 

I would 100% recommend this. I may even prefer it to Revlon ColourStay, which I still absolutely love, but this one is more suited to hotter weather as it delivers a medium coverage rather than a high one, although if you are having a bad skin day it can be built to a pretty full coverage.

L'Oreal True Match Foundation Review

I have been using revlon's colourstay foundation for a while, and decided that I fancied a change. The revlon foundation is quite a heavy coverage, so I wanted something a little lighter now that the nights are getting lighter and summer might finally be on it's way (I know it's still practically snowing, but here's hoping!).

 

I was browsing in Boots a few weeks ago, deciding which foundation I wanted to try, when this one caught my eye. I have to say, I was drawn to it mainly because the shade range is really quite broad for a drugstore foundation! There's roughly 20-22 shades, which is almost three times what some drugstore brands have available! From what I remember, the shades went from really light, to really dark so hopefully, everyone should be able to find a match for them! They have also categorised the shades into three - warm, cool and neutral shades. This is again something you don't often get with cheaper brands.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The packaging of this is lovely. It's a glass bottle, which feels really sturdy so I'd definitely feel safe chucking it in my make-up bag. The chrome pump gets grubby really, really easily, but I love the fact it actually has a pump, as the revlon one I'd been using doesn't!

 

I have the shade N1 Ivory, which is I think the lightest neutral toned one they have. I am quite pale, and I found this was a really good match for my skin tone.

 

The consistency is really nice too - it's not too thick so it glides onto your skin easily. I tend to apply my foundation with the real techniques stippling brush, but I also tried to apply this with my fingers and it applied just as easily.

 

I would say this was a medium coverage foundation. It does cover most imperfections, but if you suffer with redness (like I do) then you'll need to just touch the problem areas up with some concealer.

 

The one negative I have about this product is the staying power. The revlon colourstay is literally the longest-lasting foundation I've ever used, so this had a lot to live up to. Unfortunately, this lasted toughly 5/6 hours (with primer and setting powder), until I felt I needed to touch up.

 

I should point out here that my skin can get quite oily, so if you had normal/dry skin then this probably wouldn't be so much of an issue. However, on me, it looked as though it had melted off my face in only 5 hours. I prefer not to touch up my make-up throughout the day if I can help it, so this really put me off the product unfortunately!

 

I so wanted to love this, and if it had stayed on longer, I'd be singing it's praises. It's genuinely a good foundation, but definitely not suitable for oily skin. If you have normal or dry skin, then this could work for you as it doesn't cling to dry patches etc, but if you have oily skin like me, I'd say choose a foundation which is more suited to your skin type!

Revlon ColourStay Foundation

I had been loving using Benefit's Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow foundation but lately I had noticed that my skin, which has always been quite dry, was becoming increasingly oily. The Benefit foundation just wasn't staying on my skin for that long anymore, so once I had finished the bottle, I began the hunt for a new foundation which would cater better for oilier skin.

 

I had heard lots of people mentioning this offering from Revlon - it actually comes in two formulas, one for oily/combination skin (which is the one I have) and one for dry skin. Obviously I cannot comment on the dry skin formula as I haven't tried it, so this review is based on the oily/combo formula.

There are 9 shades in the range, but many of them appeared to be quite light, so if you have dark skin this may be an issue! However, this was just at a quick glance so don't hold me to that one.

 

One of the main gripes I have with this foundation is the lack of a pump! It makes applying the foundation messy, and considering the fact it's £12.49 and cheaper foundations come with a pump, it's rather annoying! However, I'll let them off seeing as I genuinely love this product.

 

This claims to be lightweight, wear for up to 16 hours, and contains an SPF of 6, which is perfect for everyday protection. It does stay put for a really long time - I can't comment on if the 16 hour claims are true as I never really wear foundation for that long, but I don't have to touch this up throughout the day like I had to with the Benefit foundation.

 

The consistency of the foundation itself is quite thick, and it does dry fairly quickly so you need to blend it into your skin rather fast! Despite this, I have never found it difficult to apply. The coverage is medium-heavy, and a little goes a very long way. I've found that if you apply too much it can look a little 'cakey', but once you've got an idea of how much you'll need, this shouldn't be an issue.

 

I absolutely love this. I love the fact it doesn't slide off my face, I love that it stays put all day without the need for touch ups, and I love how it covers all redness and blemishes. The only other grumble I have, apart from the pump issue, is the fact that it does smell fairly odd (kind of chemically) which put me off at first, but I haven't had any breakout issues so far.

 

I would recommend this to anyone who has oily skin. It's one of the only foundations I've tried which doesn't slide off your face at the first sign of oiliness.

Maybelline FIT Me! Foundation Review

Before I start with the review, I know this is only a sample, but as it is a very generously sized sample I believe I have had enough use out of it to be able to give it a fair review. I used this foundation for around 4 weeks before reviewing.

 

Now that's out of the way, this is the new foundation from Maybelline, which is called "fit me!". I believe there's a range of products including this foundation, a powder and a concealer.

 

 

I won't mention the packaging as this is only a sample and therefore is not in the same packaging as the full-sized bottle.

 

Maybelline were offering people the chance to try this foundation for free on their website, but unfortunately they have now run out of samples! Naturally I jumped at the chance to try this as I had heard so many good things about it. I didn't want to purchase the full-sized one just yet as I still have half a bottle of the Benefit foundation left and I hate wasting products, so I thought I'd try a sample and see what I thought before purchasing the full-sized.

 

In all honesty this is the wrong shade for me, it's slightly too orange. It's not too bad and I have worn it but I think I would be inclined to purchase the shade lighter than this.

 

There's 12 shades available in this range, and although it's a pretty good range if you are pale-skinned, if you are dark-skinned then unfortunately there's not a lot of choice with this foundation!

 

I have the shade Classic Ivory but as I mentioned it's slightly too dark so I would probably purchase Ivory.

 

 

 

Maybelline describe this as "flawless, let the real you come through", and their tagline for the range is "don't mask me, fit me" so the focus is on a natural look which enhances your skin rather than covering it up. It's actually very similar to the Hello Flawless Benefit foundation I have been using (review here) in the fact that it's quite runny, and the coverage is sheer at first but it is buildable without looking 'cakey'.

 

It's very easy to blend into your skin - I tend to blend with my fingers and the buff it into my skin with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush as I find it hard to apply this with a brush alone. It lasts around 6 hours without primer or setting powder, but with both of these it lasts me all day.

 

Overall I am really impressed with this. I will be purchasing this instead of my Benefit foundation when it runs out as I think it's extremely similar and also a third of the price! I really want to try the powder and concealer now because if the foundation is anything to go by, they will probably be amazing!

Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow

Hey everyone,

I've been on the lookout for a higher-end foundation for a while now. I had been using Rimmel Cream Gel foundation for a few months, and although I do like it, I wanted to treat myself to something a bit more 'luxurious'.

After reading some reviews online, I decided to bite the bullet and buy Benefit's only liquid foundation, 'Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow'.

After being matched up in store by a very lovely lady, I was matched to "I'm Pure 4 Sure". This foundation actually comes in 9 shades - 3 light, 3 medium and 3 dark. I think the idea is that there is a warm, neutral and cool for each of light, medium and dark. The shade range is good, although I know some other high-end brands have a huge shade selection.

I personally like the packaging. I love that it's clear so you don't have the problem of waking up one morning and having no foundation left. I also like the fact that the bottom 'pushes up' if you get what I mean, meaning that there will be virtually no waste as almost all of the foundation will be pumped out of the bottle. If possible, I always try to pick foundations with a pump dispenser, as I find those where you have to physically pour the foundation out messy and it's easier to pour out too much, resulting in a lot of wasted product.

"Hello... it's flawless time! Our new oil-free brightening liquid foundation builds from light to medium coverage for a natural complexion you can believe in. It's you... just more luminous and healthy looking." This is how Benefit describe the foundation. I have to say, I agree with this. It's is a light coverage at first, but it builds to medium without looking cakey or orange. I have quite dry skin in places, and this is quite a runny liquid so it feels very hydrating and doesn't cling to any dry patches I have. It is oil-free, which I like, because oil based foundations tend to dry out my skin even more, which I obvoiusly don't want.

It has an SPF of 25 which is really good if you're outside a lot as it will protect your face from any sun damage, without the need of an additional SPF. However, if you're heading on a night out, or somewhere there is likely to be flash photography, you will probably see some flashback on your pictures!

I use my fingers to blend this in, and then buff it into the skin with my Real Techniques brush. As you can see in the pictures, it blends in really easily. It doesn't have the most coverage I've ever seen, but it is buildable. If you have perfect skin with no blemishes (then I'm jealous), then you will probably get away with just one 'coat' of foundation, as this gives you a healthy-looking glow.

In terms of wear time, I find this lasts about 6 hours without a primer or setting powder. When I use primer and a powder, it probablty lasts about 8 hours, which I don't think is too bad.

I would recommend this foundation, especially to people with dry skin. It's hydrating and doesn't accentuate any dry patches :)

If you can, go into a Boots store with a Benefit counter, or a Benefit store, to get yourself matched to a shade. I was all set to buy a different shade to this until the lady tried it on my face! You don't want to be spending a lot of money on a foundation only to get home and find it's the completely wrong colour. The only bad thing about my experience was that she gave me some free samples and now I really want the Facial Emulsion moisturiser! (sorry bank balance).

Products I've Changed My Mind About

I really enjoy reading these types of posts, so I thought I'd do my own. There's only 3 products that are on here because most of the stuff I buy, I look into to decide if I really want/need it. These 3 are all products that I originally liked, and all 3 of them have their own reviews which I will link in this post. However, after using these for a longer period of time, I have changed my mind about them. Just to be clear, I don't think these are bad products generally, they just don't work for me - some of you may love them, and that's fine, after all, I loved them when I first found them!

#1. Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation

I first bought this because of the amount of hype it was getting in the blogging community. If you read my original review, I said that I wouldn't repurchase it due to the shimmer it has in it. However, I have been using this again because it was the only foundation I had to hand when I ran out of the Rimmel Cream Gel one I normally use. Having used it again, I can now see that the shimmer is not as noticeable in natural light as I originally thought it was, and it also helps to make you look more awake. I always liked the formula of this foundation, and that hasn't changed, but I have gotten used to the shimmer in it, and I can now see why so many people rave about this. I would purchase this again. :)

#2. Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover

I really liked this when I first bought it, and for a while after. I still do really like the concept, but I just feel this one is slightly too overpriced. I had a cheaper version ages and ages ago that I picked up from Home and Bargains for about 99p, which I really liked so I thought I'd try this more expensive one to see if I could see a dramatic difference. In all honesty, the only difference is that it smells nicer when you use it. The Bourjois one has a black sponge so you can't see the product build up in it, but you can tell when you try to remove your nail polish. If you have ever removed glitter polish with it, you will end up with glitter on your nails each time you use it after. Don't get me wrong the cheaper version obviously did this too, but at 99p compared to £4.99, it's a little easier to swallow. Also with this, it claims you don't need to use a cotton pad, but I found that this left a greasy residue all over my fingers, which is probably the oils within it to help look after your nails, but I hate the greasy feeling, and so had to wash my hands after every time I used this, which kind of defeated the point of it in my opinion.

#3. Dove Maximum Protection Deodorant

Ah, I'm so gutted this is in here. I LOVED this at first - it stopped sweat, there was no white marks and it kept you smelling fresh all day long. However, after using it for a few weeks, I think my body became immune to it or something (I don't know if this actually happens but I like to think so :P), and it just didn't stop me sweating anymore. This being said, if it works for you, then I am jealous. Yes, it's quite expensive for a deodorant, but it genuinely is good, as long as you're not like me and your body doesn't reject it :P. Obviously, I am no longer using this and I am back with my trusty Mitchum deodorant, which works perfectly fine for me still :)

I hope this was interesting to some people. I wanted to do a post, but I wasn't feeling a product review so I thought I'd do something a little different as I always enjoy reading these posts.

Rimmel Match Perfection Cream Gel Foundation

Hello everyone!

Firstly, sorry for the lack of posts this week - my mum and dad went on holiday on Monday so I have been left in charge of my 16 year old brother (getting him up and ready for school etc) and I have also been working a lot this week, so I just haven't had time to post!

Anyway, my parents get back later on tonight so everything is back to normal as of tomorrow!

Anyway, today I have a new foundation for you! I had been using Bourjois Healthy Mix for a couple of months, and although I really liked it and would recommend it, I like to change foundations quite regularly just to see if there is any better ones and to try some new releases etc (am I the only one who does this?! haha). When the Bourjois one ran out, I went into Boots to have a look, actually with the intention of getting the Healthy Mix Serum, as I had heard some really good things about it, but when I swatched this Rimmel one, I had to have it.

The packaging of this is really lovely - it is a glass jar (very similar to the packaging of Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse) with a shimmery blue lid and shimmery blue lettering. It is quite heavy though, so probably would be a bit awkward for chucking in your handbag. Also, when you open the blue lid, you see a further white 'lid', which I presume is for hygeine reasons, and is something I really like. To me, it looks like Rimmel have put a lot of thought into the product.

I have shade 103 True Ivory - there is only 5 shades in the range, meaning that if you have extremely pale or dark skin then this won't be much use to you. I was lucky enough to find a shade which matched my skin, although a lot of the shades looked a little on the orange side.

This is a "cream gel" foundation, which Rimmel claim gives a "natural looking flawless finish", "evens skin tone" and "mimics skin tone and texture". The consistency of the foundation is quite strange. I expected it to be quite heavy and "gel-like", but it is the complete opposite. It feels almost like a gel in the jar, but once applied to the face it is extremely light and natural looking. It feels quite wet when first applied, but dries fairly quickly so this isn't a problem.

The foundation gives a light-meduim coverage which I personally like, but I appreciate some people may prefer a heavier coverage. If I have any blemishes, I simply apply concealer to the problem areas and this covers them nicely. This foundation gives a dewy look to the skin but it's not overly shiny. If you didn't like the dewy look, it is easily mattified with a powder anyway. The foundation lasts on my face for about 7/8 hours, so it's not as long-lasting as some other foundations out there, but this doesn't bother me much because I love everything else about this foundation!

I have quite dry patches on my face, and although Bourjois Healthy Mix did cover them up quite well, this almost makes them disappear altogether. I like how natural it looks, and I like that it gives a dewy finish.

Because it is quite hydrating and because it covers up my dry patches so well, I probably wouldn't recommend this to people who have oily skin, but I would definately recommend it to anyone with dry skin like myself. I will priobably repurchase this once it runs out, because it is one of the only ones I have tried which covers up my dry patches. Plus, its super cheap too which is a bonus!

Rimmel Cream Gel Foundation is £6.99 and is avaibale from Boots, Superdrug (not on their website - anyone else think the Superdrug website is rubbish?!) and all major supermarkets.

ELF Cosmetics Professional Foundation Brush

Hello everyone,

Last week I posted about some ELF nail polishes that I had bought, and mentioned that I had also purchased a foundation brush from ELF, which is what I will be talking about today.

I will admit, I have never been a huge fan of make-up brushes. I always thought that I could apply foundation with my fingers and it would be fine. However, I saw many people saying that a foundation brush gives you a more flawless finish, and saw rave reviews about the Real Techniques 'buffing brush'. However, instead of splurging on those in case I decided I didn't like using a brush to apply foundation, I thought I'd buy one from ELF while I was making an order.

The brush itself is actually quite nice looking. The handle is a white colour with a slight shimmer to it, and as you can see, the bristles are yellow/orange with a silver bit in the middle (the name of this part escapes me haha). The bristles are really soft, and when you apply foundation, the foundation isn't absorbed by them so there is no wasted product.

It's actually really easy to create a flawless finish with the brush, which I wasn't expecting. The brush makes it easy to blend foundation into your skin and doesn't make you look cakey at all. The angled shape also means it's easy to cover awkward places like the nose and eyes.

To wash this, I used a mild shampoo and it came up as good as new, though I have heard some people cleaning theirs with baby shampoo so this will work too. I've washed it about 5/6 times now and it still looks and feels just as it did when I got it.

I really like this brush and would definately recommend it to anyone who is just starting to try make-up brushes. I don't know if it compares to the more high-end brushes like the Real Techniques that I mentioned before, but for now I'm happy with this one.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

Hello everyone,

Today I will be reviewing Bourjois 'Healthy Mix' Foundation. I have been using this foundation since I decided I wasn't the greatest fan of Rimmel's 'Wake Me Up' and was recommended this product by a few friends and also some fellow bloggers. Off I popped to Boots, and returned with this:

I have shade 51 'Light Vanilla'. I am slightly confused about the shade range for this. In Boots, there is only 3 shades available, but on the Bourjois UK website, there's quite a few? So I don't really know how available the majority of the shades are as there was only a choice of 3 in both Boots and Superdrug. If anyone knows anything about this then please let me know!

The foundation comes in a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. I have had some issues with the pump dispenser in the fact that it won't pump any foundation out and when you press the dispenser the next time foundation will come out everywhere (and all over my bedroom carpet, oops) but I haven't seen anyone else mentioning this so I don't know if I just have a dud one.

This foundation contains something called 'fruit therapy', which is where it uses fruits to create a flawless complexion, hence the name 'Healthy Mix'. It contains apricot (for radiance), melon (for hydration), apple (anti-oxidant) and ginger (for energy). I would say that this foundation is very hydrating and does make your skin glow, but I will go onto that later.

Anyway onto the product claims - Bourjois claim that this foundation gives you a "flawless complexion for up to 16 hours". This I wouldn't agree with. Using this foundation by itself (no primer and no setting powder) lasts around 6 hours I would say. With a primer and a powder I do usually get through the day without touch-ups, but alone the foundation is not enough. I have normal/dry skin and it doesn't last that long on me so I don't know how long it would last on oily skin.

The consistency is quite runny, but I think this is partly to do with the fact it is marketed as a 'hydrating' foundation. As I mentioned before, I have quite normal skin with a few dry patches, and this just glides over the dry patches, whereas some foundations will cling to them, making them more obvious. This is what I really like about this product. I had read numerous reviews on this on many blogs and all of them said it would be good for dry skin, which is why I purchased it in the first place. Also, it actually smells lovely. You can smell the fruit scent in it, which masks the traditional 'make-up' scent. I am aware this may not be to everyones taste but personally I like it and think it smells much nicer than the traditional foundations.

The overall effect of 'healthy mix' is lovely. It does make your skin glow and it feels very light on the skin. The coverage is quite light so if you have any blemishes you will probably need a dab of concealer just to cover them up, though this to me is not a major issue.

Overall I really like the 'Healthy Mix Foundation'. I would definately recommend it to someone with normal to dry skin like myself, though maybe not for someone with oily skin. I will definately be repurchasing this as it is probably the best drugstore foundation I have tried. The lovely smell is a definate plus as well!

Also in the Healthy Mix range are a concealer and another foundation with is called the 'Healthy Mix Serum' which is apparently a gel-like foundation and I have heard this is also very good but I haven't tried it personally and can't comment on it.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation

First, apologies for the two foundation reviews so close together. I have been using this foundation for about a month now and haven't blogged about it yet because I wanted to give it a fair try before voicing my opinions. Now almost everyone has blogged about this, but I wanted to share with you what I thought about it.

The foundation comes in a thick glass bottle, which I like, with a bright orange cap and an orange pump dispenser. The glass bottle is embossed with the Rimmel logo on one side. I personally like packaging of this, it looks quite expensive, and although the bottle is glass, it is thick and looks very sturdy.

As you can see I use shade 100 Ivory.

Rimmel's Wake Me Up Foundation claims to "visibly reawaken and illuminate skin with a radiant glow and a flawless, natural looking finish". It contains an SPF of 15, which is a bonus in my book as I like to have some kind of sun protection on my face daily, and to be included in a foundation is just more convenient. The dispenser makes it very easy to get out the right amount of product, and I tend to use about 1-2 pumps for my entire face. The consistency is perfect for me; it's quite thick but I prefer this to a foundation which is too runny, though it is quite difficult to blend  in properly with your fingers - you will probably need a foundation brush/sponge.

Now, onto the one thing I dislike about this product, and you all probably know what I'm coming to here. The shimmer. Don't get me wrong, it's not like a glitterball or anything, and in fact it is barely noticable in certain lights, but under artificial lighting, you can see it. In fact, somebody I work with actually said to me "you have glitter on your face" (cringe moment!). The shimmer I think actually is a shame because other than that I do like this foundation. I still use it most days as I can't bring myself to buy another foundation when I have practically a full bottle here. It's fine for a night out or something like that because the coverage is amazing, just not if you dislike the glitter effect and are going to be under a lot of artificial light. The claim of reawakening skin and illuminating it, I believe it lived up to. My skin did look brighter and I did look more awake, which was good.

Overall, I probably wouldn't repurchase this. Don't get me wrong, I will use it, and I do like it APART FROM THE SHIMMER. Rimmel, bring this exact foundation out without the shimmer, and I am sold. Unfortunately I am not a fan of having glitter on my face, which is a shame :(

Kind of a mixed review here, and apologies for the lengthy review but I wanted to share that I do like it. Just not the shimmer.
